The Mama and Papa: We put together the crib this weekend. We almost had it together when we found the instructions. The entire time Daddy is threatening to write a nasty letter to the crib company over not having any instructions.... lol. We also bought and put together the stroller and car seat. That had great instructions, "snap", however we didnt even need them. Everything "snapped" together, just as the instructions stated... "snap". |

The Mama and Papa: Daddy is in Chicago this weekend, working. I put the phone to my belly just so you could hear his voice. I had a boast of energy and went shopping and did cleaning all weekend. I can barely move now! |

The Mama and Papa: The baby seems to be waking up in the afternoons and rolling around. Especially after having a coke slushie, definitly gave the baby a boost of energy. Had another dr's appointment this week. Daddy got to hear the heartbeat, blood pressure was great, belly measuring great... lost a couple of pounds but everyone is healthy! |

The Mama and Papa: We got to see the baby! Unfortunately, it did not want to co-operate and open up its legs so we could have a peek to see what it is. The baby is in a breech position, head at Mommy's belly button, facing Mommy's spine. Knees at its chest, feet crossed. Hopefully, the baby will turn around soon. We may get one more chance to do another ultrasound since the tech had trouble getting a good look at some things. If not, it will be a surprise. We got to see the baby stretch out its arms and then cuddle back up for another snooze. Soooo Cute! |

The Mama and Papa: Today we bought a cherry wood crib and a dresser from Sears. It will be coming in the middle of July. We can't wait to start decorating the nursery. |

The Mama and Papa: Today is Grandma and Papa's Wedding. Luckily I have a brand new outfit to wear. Maternity jeans and a nice maternity top. Still not looking too pregnant yet, unless I'm wearing my maternity clothes. I still can only feel baby when lying down. Carter lets me know he thinks there is a baby boy in my belly, not a girl. We'll find out in two weeks! |

The Mama and Papa: Today I went shopping with Karen for some maternity clothes. Just in time, as I have to lie in my bed in order to button up my jeans. Thanks Karen for all the clothes. I think I look great in them. They are actually pretty comfortable to wear, and are formal enough to wear to work (besides the jeans). Carter is spending the night tonight with Grandma, we're heading out to Point Pelee tomorrow for a day of fun in the sun! |

The Baby: Measures 4 1/3 to 4 2/3 inches (108 to 116mm) and weighs 2 3/4oz (80g). The baby's arms and legs are complete. The nervous system is operating and its muscles are responding to stimulation. The baby is very active, rolling over, doing somersaults, and kicking. |
The Mama and Papa: This week Mark raced in the dragon boat races. The Dragon Butts earned first place in the B Division. Go Dragon Butts!!! Steph is also pregnant and due in January. Another new friend for Baby Bernard! Congrats Steph, Jeff, Jordan and Jeffrey! Morning sickness has finally left Chantelle, but most of the clothes I own no longer fit. |

The Baby: Measures 3 1/4 to 4 inches (80 to 93mm) and weighs almost 1oz (25g). The placenta is now the support system. The Baby's movements are less jerky. It can bend, flex adn twist its fingers, hands, wrists, legs, knees and toes. The baby is even starting to grow hair on its head. |
The Mama and Papa: This week Chantelle starts wearing maternity clothes to work. Joni, Marissa and Amanda go shopping in the states for some maternity clothes. Thank you meme Joni for the belly rub to prevent those nasty stretch marks. |

The Baby: Measures 2 2/3 to 3 inches (65 to 78mm) and weighs 1/2 to 2/3 oz (13 to 20g). The Baby's neck is fully formed and can support head movements. The Baby starts to sense sound now, although its ears are fully formed until 24 weeks. |
The Mama and Papa: This week we went to Vegas for our last vacation together. What an amazing city. We toured all the famous casinos, attractions, the old strip, red rock canyon, lake mead and hover dam. We barely slept this week! When dressing up to go to the shows, I started noticing clothes being a bit too tight to wear. The baby is making itself known this week. When lying down, I can feel the baby moving around. Kind of like a fish swimming around in your belly. Mark starts talking to the baby so the baby will know his voice when born. |
